Hello! Welcome to the Mario Shrine! This is a fan club of Mario Mario. It is for fans of any kind or level. Artists, writers, videoists, just fans, whatever! Wether you mildly like Mario or positively LOVE him, it's fine! I'm looking for members, affiliates and feel free to request a Co-Adminstrator position, but no promises! You do not have to have Mario in your name, avatar or signature to join. Also, no money at all of any kind is ever required.

To join, please send me a note entitled "Join" or something like that.
To leave the club, just tell it on the main page.
Acceptance is almost guranteed (only if I know that you just want to cause problems will it be denied). But please remember to read the rules beforehand. Ignorance will NOT be an excuse for violations. If you want to affiliate, or ask about being Co-Adminstrator, also send a note with that kind of title. Suggestions are also welcome, but please don't go overboard promoting yourself or anybody else. If absolutely necessary, then contact my main account. A complete list of members and affiliates, as well as a staff list will be on every journal. All news will be in a journal, so please watch the club and pay special attention to journals. Rules can be added, as well. Please be patient with me, I have an odd Internet schedule. Please note that if you break a rule, it will be attempted to be fixed in whatever method I deem appropiate and you will be warned. If you break any rule again, you will recieve a 1-week ban from the club. Three times, and the ban will last 4 weeks. Four times, and it will be indefenite. Contests and other cool things will eventually be held, in which all members from normal ones to the Adminstrator and (if applicable) Co-Adminstrator can participate. Also, once we become 50 strong, I'll start plans for a six-month term freely elected board of members, which will be explained in detail at that time. If you have any questions, note me. Comments, comment on the page. Also, please favorite and comment on the ORIGINAL work. Finally, when I say "couplings", I mean romantic pairings.

Rules:
1. Be nice. Constructive criticism is fine, but if you are asked to stop, then stop! "If you've got nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all"(~Unknown speaker) Certainly applies.
2. Try to be original. It doesn't need to be 100% so, but please try as best you can.
3. All skill levels accepted.
4. All work and comments must be E/G rated. No exceptions.
5. It MUST contain Mario.
6. What Mario is shown doing/saying etc. must be something that he might actually do/say etc. in that situation. It can be hard to determine what he would do/say etc. but try. Don't make it be something that would obviously be wrong.
7. ANY other character, or real person, is acceptable as long as you give credit to the owner/identify the person, and it complies with all other rules.
8. If it contains couplings related to Mario, then for two-way, ONLY Mario and Peach. If it's Mario liking somebody else, ONLY Peach or Pauline if set before Peach's introduction.. However, freedom is granted if it is somebody else liking Mario. Except for Luigi.
9. Respect all staff, members and affiliates.
10. No theft, flaming, trolling or spamming.
11. By joining this club, you agree to hold it and staff exempt from legal suits and criminal prosecution.
12. This club does not necessarily reflect the views of DeviantART or any of it's employees or other members.
13. This club does not necessarily reflect the views of Nintendo or anybody and anything related to Nintendo.
14. You do not need to submit to the club to be a member.
